Absolutely wonderful book with endless interesting and unusual succinct advice essentials. Includes secrets on making blood purifiers, breathe solutions, cements and glues, cleaning solutions, hair tonic, "Hamlin's wizard oil", hog cholera cure, many colors ink, lemonade syrup & flavor extracts, maple sugar, salves, balms, paints, tooth pastes, even how to do several magic stage illusions, on and on.

Publisher's decoratively stamped cloth binding, blind embossed title lettering & designs.

Splendid condition, scarce/ rare thus. Book appears to have sat untouched for the past 100 years, much fresher in overall appearance than typical for cloth books of this early century era.

Book is physically old and shows some light minor inevitable small signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition but is still lovely.

Binding gently age worn, edges and corners slightly rubbed or scuffed, remains overall quite attractive as an object.

Text block paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, square, sound.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a remarkable unique age patina, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
