Period full leather binding, raised & gilt bands, gilt title lettering, embossed & gilt ruled covers, all edges & turn ins gilt.

Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.

A handsome and stately binding, no doubt a premium level of craftsman's work.

Binding gently age worn, leather rubbed but still supple, joints slightly scuffed with some thin cracking to leather surface, covers still firm and strong, remains overall attractive as an object.

Text block paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.

Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
