Period 18th century American full leather binding, smooth spine, contrasting morocco gilt title label.
Boards rubbed with scratch marks, joints scuffed, corners worn, small loss at spine ends, old paper spine label. Book still structurally sound, leather supple.
Text block shaken, several leaves protruding, mostly still sound. Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, some scattered spotting, corners slightly worn down, couple short edge splits, etc. Old institutional book plate.
Book remains attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
