Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition. Still, a splendid example of an early American juvenile rarity, found here in a very pleasing state of preservation.
Paper covers gently age worn, slight rubbing, small corner curling, light soiling, remains overall clean and attractive as an object paper surface still shiny and reflective as issued (not rub worn down).
Text block paper is gently toned, minor signs of handling, internally still clean, well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive and quite charming. The inherently small ephemeral fragile chap book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
