Shelburne Museum.
Published 1965, Shelburne, Vermont.
Trifold promotional advertising leaflet. Text in English. Unfolds to pictorial birds-eye view map with a key below identifying 42 specific buildings within the museum grounds. Profile details reminiscent of 19th century birds-eye views described by Reps.
Publisher's tan paper wrappers.
Item is old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Paper gently age rubbed, tiny nick beginnings of splits at fold line ends, remains overall clean and attractive as a fragile survival.
Text block paper is toned, signs of handling, small scattered spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive on the shelf. The scarce pamphlet displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this elusive vintage item survives by random lucky chance. All examples should be considered "one-off's" since there was no inherent pressing reason to save such a map once the visit was over, and certainly not for years. Same pattern exists today for similar material.
Unfolded item measures c. 9" H x 11 1/2" W.
