Period smoothed grained leather binding, gilt title, beautiful marbled end papers, all edges and turn ins gilt. Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive.
Interior remains clean and bright.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Leather is supple. Some wear and thin splitting along bottom edge of both covers (almost invisible when the book is standing upright on a shelf), short splitting at head of joints and spine (all shown in video), overall a good survival with a handsome shelf appearance.
Book measures: 7 1/2" H X 5 1/2" W.
