Publisher's suede/reverse calf binding, smooth spine, gilt title lettering, gilt pictorial cover decorations, deckled edges.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound although the suede has dried and slightly abraded in places (along joints for instance and board edges).
Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
