Publisher's pictorial paper wrappers, oblong format. Nice lot of 2 early 20th century view books of this charming New England town.
These strike us as a bit nicer than typical view books of this era, many of the views within depict vehicles, pedestrians, urban signage and stores, etc.
Books are physically old and show some signs of handling and time. Pair is not new or in "new" condition.
Bindings gently age worn, one slightly wavy text block as often seen with booklets of this era, some edge wear, signs of handling, etc.- yet each remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive on the shelf. Books display a pleasing and unique age patina and are in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail showing how this antique book survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books. Flaws seen and described have been taken into account.
