Gorgeous publishers decorative embossed leather gift binding, smooth spine, gilt title lettering, decoratively embossed spine and cover decorations, all edges gilt. Text block shaken, several signatures slightly protruding. Plates age spotted.

Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, with some light scattered spotting throughout, plates toned or age spotted.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.

Still a lovely survival, much nicer physical object than typical for similar gift leather bindings of this era.
