Virginia Travel Brochures Lot x 8.
Published c. 1930-50's, United States.
Unique collection of folding tourist pamphlets.
Each brochure was separately issued and is complete unto itself. Numerous maps within, strong cartographic interest.
A wonderful small collection of tourist brochures for this state, mostly seeming to predate 1960. Great lot to supplement an existing collection of old tourist travel ephemera, or from which to begin a collection.
Publisher's pictorial paper wrappers. Nice lot of 8 mid-century American travel brochures to various hotels and historical locations throughout Virginia.
Lot is old and shows some mostly very minor light signs of handling and time. Items are not new or in "new" condition.
Paper covers age worn, slight rubbing, minor small age spotting or pencil marks perhaps, remains overall clean and attractive as a fragile survival.
Paper is toned, signs of handling, small scattered spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Each is individually attractive to inspect. The unique pamphlet lot displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this one of a kind antique Virginia tourism collection survives.
