Scarce mid 19th century pocket hymnal, of interest due to the issuing source. A scarce/ rare early YMCA publication, elusive in any condition.

Original paper covered boards. Some rubbing, staining and age wear to covers which are slightly loose but still well held by cloth spine. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound.

NOTE- 3 text pages are missing! They must have been torn out by an early owner who wanted to keep them in his pocket. (priced accordingly). 

Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, largely free of age spotting.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
