Remarkable mid-18th century engraved map with attractive hand color.

A bizarre and fantastical assortment of features which include a clear North-West Passage cutting across Canada, speculative mountain ranges and courses, and references to early discoveries and cartography.

Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Any age flaws mostly minor and easy to overlook or forgive.
