Very detailed antique engraved color map.

Printed in the 19th century, the paper has been gently age toned as always, but which remains sound, mostly clean & well preserved.

In Good+ to near Very Good or better condition; a 2" split at bottom centerfold temporarily closed with archival tape, couple short minor edge splits mended long ago, normal uniform minor age toning to sheet as typical, and small staining or spotting as should be clearly visible within the photos. Overall the printed image is clean, well preserved and very attractive.

A good framer could frame this map in a manner which would make it look outstanding. Entire printed map area is lovely and original, free of defects aside from the most trivial.

A fascinating and beautifiully engraved antique map which any collector, dealer, institution or person of artistic taste would be happy to own and display.
