Very uncommon/ scarce mid 19th century folio sheet lithographed map with original hand color. Decorative piano key border. From a rare atlas of this era.

With detailed insets and keys which include a comparative mountain height diagram, Arabia Petrea, the Gulf of Suez with sounding depths and an urban plan of Jerusalem.

Remains clean and nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Any age flaws are minor and easy to overlook or forgive.

An impressive map in person, nicer than the digital images might indicate.
