Issued c. 1780, Paris by anonymous. Above the top neat line longitude is noted as taken from the Isle de Fer, while the orientale meridian is from Paris.

Uncommon late 18th century engraved map with attractive hand color.

Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Any age flaws mostly minor and easy to overlook or forgive.

Original fold lines as issued. Left blank margin extra at the bottom to allow for the inset folding of the map.

Sheet Measures c. 10 3/4" H x 10" W.
