Issued 1750 (1783 version here), Paris by Robert de Vaugondy.

Mid (to late) 18th century engraved map with attractive hand color.

This rare late appearance issued c.1783, Lyon.

Likely using an earlier, original 1750 era engraved plate although a close comparison could reveal differences or possibly entirely different plates (meaning this was a later pirated (unauthorized) re-issue version).

Remains clean, a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Any age flaws mostly minor and easy to overlook or forgive.

Original fold lines as issued as is the narrow lower left blank margin.

Sheet Measures c. 7" H x 6 1/2" W.

Engraved Area Measures c. 5 7/8" H x 5 7/8" W.
