Late 18th century engraved map.

Note the shape of North America in the west. Alaska is a strange protuberance, what appears to be a clear long apocryphal River of the West is shown as well in both maps.

Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, some age spotting in blank margins, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.

Sheet measures c. 8" H x 10" W.

Engraved area measures c. 4 1/2" H x 7" W.
