Rare early 18th century miniature map with original hand color. Tiny pictograms across the map to denote key cities.

Signs of age, handling, small staining. Left side blank margin mostly lacking with small loss into the graticule and neat line of the engraved map area.

Top left corner banner with early manuscript notations, unreadable to my eyes, but likely abbreviations for German terminology of historical terrain and topographic and political features.

Original centerfold.

Remains attractive despite the condition issues described above.

Very scarce/ rare miniature copper engraved map due to imprint location and date.

Map sheet measures c 5 3/8” H x 5 3/4” W.
