Rare antique separately issued oversized promotional broadsheet map.

Commercial advertising at lower right corner, key below title identifies railway lines then finished and those still unfinished. On the reverse is the letterpress publishers imprint atop extensive detailed information in 5 columns about all the steamers and train departure times. Long list of Summer post office opening and closing times, 5 small boxed advertisements (two with small pictorial woodcuts) around the text, apparently an ephemeral weekly publication with dated material usefule that week only.

Original ephemeral local weekly purpose and date all but assures a miniscule survival rate.

Scattered light old foxing and staining, nothing visually offensive, paper and image displays a fine age patina and visual appeal.

Old fold lines, likely as the result of someone deliberately saving it.

Sheet measures c. 20 1/2"H x 15 5/8"W.

Printed area measures c. 18 3/4"H x 14 1/4"W.
