Pair of fine, large, uncommon late 19th century linen backed topographical maps of these Swiss regions. Lithographed panels, self contained format, portrait title labels giving sheet number to front of each. Endless terrain details, tiny city plans, endless buildings, etc.
Light uniform paper age toning, linen age worn and dried in spots resulting in some splitting along a couple panels rendering them slightly loose, original fold lines, remaining clean - a pleasing and well preserved visual example.
Sheets measure c. 22 3/8" x 31 1/4".
Printed areas measure c. 20 1/8" x 29 1/8".
