Beautiful 19th century antique map depicting fatalities resulting from various infectious diseases in Washington D.C. Map is a detailed city plan, showing the locations of deaths by disease type. These include Typhoid Fever, Malaria, Scarlet Fever, Diptheria and Diarrhoeal diseases.

Light uniform paper age toning, original fold lines, neat tissue paper repair along one fold line (with slight paper buckle), overall remaining clean - a pleasing and well preserved visual example of a little known and elusive map.
