Uncommon and charming mid 18th century engraved map with lovely original hand color.

Note the entire eastern coast of Australia is conjectural and undefined. Huge Mer de L'Ouest shown in NW America, with a huge bulbous protrusion for Alaska. Southern continent is divided into two giant masses, etc.

Well preserved, nice looking example with pleasing age patina.
