Excellent mid-17th century engraved miniature city plan.

A marvel of engraving, near microscopic level of detail, small key at lower left contains list of 21 (!) specific important locations. Perhaps hundreds of individual schematized garden plots, difficult to imagine the hours of patient precise engraving labor required. Astounding level of extensive detail.

A superior example. Dark rich impression from the plate, the contrast between darks and lights well nuanced.

Splendid capturing of the city within the early fortified walls.

Overall the map is fresh, clean, well preserved and nicely printed.
