Der Hoch-Deutsche Americanische Calender auf das Jahr 1827.
Published 1827, Germantown, PA by M. Billmeyer.
c. 32 plus wrapper covers. Text in German.
Publisher's pictorial wood cut paper wrappers. Splendid image fills the front cover showing a ship off the coast of a city, a sun burst with winged figure in the sky above.
Item is over 100 years old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition.
Paper gently age worn, slight rubbing, remains overall clean and attractive as a fragile survival.
Paper is uniformly well age toned, signs of handling, small scattered spotting, curled corners, small loss to top corner of cover and title page, internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive on the shelf. The scarce item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and overall is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
