Plan of Philadelphia.
Iconic mid-19th century lithographed map, with original hand color. Dark and richly printed early vegetation and floral leaf border. Early printing of first edition, with the exceptionally strong colors unique to these maps. Notes within the river about steamboat routes and ferry crossings.
Attractive example, clean, small age spots or toning as seen in blank margins, a pleasing age patina, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
