(Old Books, 19th Century Books, Americana, Legal History, Constitutional Law).
An Introduction to the Constitutional Law of the United States, Especially Design for Students, General and Professional. by John Norton Pomeroy, LL.D.
Published 1868, New York by Hurd and Houghton.
549 pages. Text in English.
Publisher's cloth binding, gilt title lettering, embossed in blind ruled covers.
A scarce book.
Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding gently age worn, joints scuffed, spine ends well chipped with some loss of gilt lettering at top, hinges cracked, covers slightly loosened, remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is gently toned, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Small minor old marginal pencil notations throughout.
Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
