Splendid chromolithographed atlas of the world in miniature. 14 leaves, 12 containing 4 miniature trade cards, 2 leaves with one each, all with map and representative vignette illustrations related to the principal industries of the country.

Oblong format, original string tie. Splendid survival, nicer than typical. All leaves present, clean and very attractive. 

Wonderful item, essentially 50 miniature maps printed in color. Wonderful cover with cherubs circling the globe, two elegant women drinking coffee beside the card of Brazil and a prospect view of the factory mill buildings on rear cover.

The level of detail and color printing registration approaches the pinnacle of the "high-key" color lithographic printing art form for the era.
