3 volumes each c. 30 plates, complete. Text in French. Profusely illustrated throughout with hundreds of b&w photographic images on 90+ plates.

Publisher's 1/4 cloth folio style bindings, illustrated paper covered boards, original ribbon ties, all plates printed on heavy paper stock, loose as issued.

Set is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Lot is not new or in "new" condition.

Bindings gently age worn, joints slightly scuffed, covers lightly soiled, lot remains overall attractive as an object.

Paper is gently toned, plates with minor light smudging in blank margins, all printed images clean, internally still well preserved.

Still attractive on the shelf. Set displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. 

Please review photos for more detail showing how this antique set survives. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to antiquarian books. Flaws seen and described have been taken into account, it's a lovely set of outstanding art deco images.
