Beautiful and very uncommon large folding 19th century antique advertising pocket map, color lithographed. Advertising panels surround map as seen and on reverse as well.
Light uniform paper age toning, clean, original fold lines, some short fold-line splitting at intersections, a well preserved and pleasing visual example of this scarce 19th century European cartographic tourist novelty.
Sheet measures c. 10 1/2" x 8 1/4".
Printed area measures c. 9 1/8" x 7".
Booklet measures c. 5 3/4" x 3 1/2".
