4 quarterly issues, each c. 100 pages with plates and illustrations. Text in French. Illustrations throughout, often original etchings or woodblock prints.
Original portfolio binder, marbled paper covers, cloth spine. Each edition contained in an original paper cover, all pages loose as issued within covers for each seasonal issue.
Front joint of portfolio binder split but still well and firmly attached. Paper uniformly lightly age toned, displaying a pleasing age patina. Contents remain clean, bright, and sound. Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive.
Appears to be complete, but sold as seen, virtually every illustration shown in video.
Book measures: 12" H X 9 3/4" W.
