246  pages. Text in English. Profusely illustrated throughout with 38 full page 'rotograuve" photographs printed on heavy near card stock paper, with endless advertising (many illustrated) and other photos of people, buildings, views, etc.
Originally sold only by subscription in parts at a then whopping ten dollars per copy (over $300+ in today dollars).
Publisher's oblong cloth binding, embossed in blind patterns, gilt title lettering on cover. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Internal hinges cracked but text block sound and tight, covers still well and firmly attached.
Interior contents remain clean and bright. Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive.
