Fine and scarce mid-19th century engraved antique map printed on thin bond paper.
Map displays signs of age, including: light scattered spotting, and some well done old paper repairs on the reverse to repair tear through title and to close split along fold line, tiny pin hole (backed withpaper) near top center along outside border (please see photos and video). Inset tab still at upper right, lower blank margin trimmed narrow as issued.
Despite the condition issues as described and seen, map retains a pleasing if not noble visual appearance, unique to printed maps of this era, and remains entirely suitable for display or gift giving.
