Engraved map with original outline hand color. Mounted onto a linen backing with blue cloth edging long ago, possibly as issued by the publisher. Very unusual thus, almost a small wall map.
Spotted and lightly age soiled, some wrinkling, couple small easy to overlook surface abrasions, two tiny holes in wide left side blank margin, but retaining a handsome age patina overall.
Sheet measures c. 21 7/8" x 28 1/2".
Printed area measures c. 14 3/4" x 21".
