Folio sheet 18th century engraved map with attractive hand color.

A large portion of the central interior around the equator is "Unknown Country", with a prominent apocryphal Mountains of the Moon range shown as the source of the Nile. Numerous other entirely speculative/ erroneous mountain ranges shown as well.

Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina, some extraneous wrinkling/ fold lines as seen. Any age flaws mostly minor and easy to overlook or forgive.
