With 24 beautiful b&w photographic plates, each printed on heavy thick photography paper with a fine surface. 

Publisher's paper wrappers, gilt stamped title lettering, oblong folio format. An oversized souvenir of the city, given the size and production values, likely among the most expensive of its type when originally offered.

Book is over 100 years old and shows some mostly light and minor signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding gently age worn, spine and joints slightly toned, fore edges slightly curled, remains overall clean, nice and attractive as an object.

Photos are all clean, gently toned, internally the book is still well preserved, tight, sound.

Still attractive on the shelf. This scarce large format souvenir book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
