Period French 1/4 leather binding, raised bands, spine compartments nicely gilt stamped, marbled covers and end papers.

Light rubbing, joints surface scuffed, binding remains clean, tight, sound & attractive.

Book remains well preserved and handsome on the shelf. It displays a beautiful age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
