Period 1/2 leather binding, raised and gilt bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting red and black leather labels, marbled covers. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound, slight evidence of former library ownership at spine base and removal of old paper bookplate & pocket from pastedowns.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.Â
