Late 18th century engraved map mounted on linen, apparently as issued. With the early paper label on reverse of James Wyld "Successor to Mr. Faden" (indicating the map was on hand and continued being sold for some years after 1795.
Sounding depths and rhumb lines impart a nautical feel, islands, shoals and interior terrain shown.
Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, some scattered spotting, couple small scuff spots to paper surface, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Original center fold as issued.
