(Old Magazines, Early 20th Century Periodicals, Americana, Delineator Magazine, Illustrated Periodicals).

Delineator Magazine.
Published February, 1933, New York by the Butterick Publishing Company.
90 pages plus color covers. Profusely illustrated throughout. Nice assortment of pictorial advertising of the era, some full page color ads.

Nice large format early 20th century American "high society" style and fashion magazine with pleasing Art Deco style visual content. Includes two superb early color narrative comic strips with flapper girl art by "Timmins" and D'Alton Valentine inside rear cover. Rare issue.

Binding remains clean, tight, and sound, various mostly small signs of age, time and handling, nothing offensive or major. Overall a nice looking example with a great fashion cover.

Small age flaws or defects include possible random old creasing, edge chipping, small light old staining, etc. Overall entirely acceptable example of what is likely a scarce survival. The pictures give a very good sense of how the item survives.

Virtually all periodicals of this era are fairly scarce today as individual complete issues. Like most random survivals of old periodical printing, any specific example (like this one) is likely among a relative handful still extant. As each decade goes back from 1950's, the rate of scarcity for any specific magazine or paper item increases noticeably, just look at comic books as an obvious and well known example. Even today, relatively few people save most magazines and other time sensitive printed material.

Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina.

Magazine remains attractive on the shelf. any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.

Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this vintage item survives. This item is not new- it is old and has been handled by different owners in the past.
