Folding maps at rear as issued (appear unopened although paper is somewhat brittle and could split along fold lines if not handled with care).

Contents include: "Travel and Ascents in the Himalaya" by W.W. Graham; "A Journey Into the Interior of Ashanti" by Captain Brandon Kirby; "Exploration in the Neighborhood of Mount Roraima and Kukenam in British Guiana" by Henry Whitley.

Maps include: "Ashanti and Neighboring Countries" & "Part of British Guyana".

Scarce late 19th century geographical periodical removed from bound volume (evidence visible along spine). 

Original paper cover, lacking rear wrapper. Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Interior clean, some pages loosened from old dried glue binding, light signs of use.

The periodical remains well preserved given the fragile nature. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
