Royal Avenue, Belfast
(Europe, Ireland, Touristical city views, Crowded Streets, Double Decker Horse Carriages, Bovril Advertisment, Ships Docked in Dublin Harbor)
Issued ca.1890, unknown imprint location
A visually appealing antique halftone print, mounted long ago to a hard cardboard backing sheet, now loose as seen here. Views are mounted to both sides of the cardboard sheet , and we show them.
Offered for the outstanding modern appeal of the printed image as well as the historical interest of the topic and how it is presented.
In Good+ [or better] condition: displays uniform age toning and small minor age flaws as typical for paper sheets of this era. There may be light scattered spotting, faint scattered staining, possibly small minor edge repairs on the back with small pieces of archival tape. Any defects along the sheet edges and in the blank margins may be seen in the photos.
Please examine the scan closely as the picture forms a central part of the description. There is a zoom feature so you can inspect both sides of the sheet close up.
Great fun to look at both sides.
Overall, the images remain clean and very attractive- absolutely appropriate for framing and display.
[note: we grade very conservatively and always seek to disclose any noteworthy flaws].
Great, unique old printed images entirely worthy of hanging for display or presenting to someone as a present.
Sheet measures c. 9" H x 11 1/2" W.
Printed areas may be approximated by looking and using some common sense based on sheet size.
