Interesting and undoubtedly very scarce antique color lithographed (heliotype) local map.

From an unknown source, but certainly one with a smaller more local distribution as opposed to national.

Of note for the key which prominently locates all the Woolen & Cotton Mills as well as Saw & Grist Mills, Tanneries, Shambles & Iron Works.

In near VG or better condition, light old offsetting, short minor closed edge tear near left inset tab, overall the image is clean, well preserved and very attractive.

Original fold lines as issued, right middle margin wider as issued to serve as inset tab for the folded map.

Sheet measures c. 17 1/4" x 21"

Engraved area measures c. 16 3/4" x 20"
