Mid 18th century engraved map with attractive hand color.

Strong visual quality is imparted by the center compass rose with rhumb lines as well as the crest cartouche which cites Capt. Roberts as the source.

Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina, some inoffensive light old offsetting. Any age flaws mostly minor and easy to overlook or forgive.
