Issued 1858, New York by A. Weingartner's Lithography for D.T. Valentine.
Mid 19th century pre Civil War color lithographed print.
A great early NYC bustling urban scene, nicely elevated prospect birds-eye looking down one of the major avenues of the city. Clearly visible are the two trolley lines with horse drawn cars seen on one, the general arrangement of space allowed for the horse drawn carts led by drivers to move and park in the street, the signage, covered sidewalks, awnings, pedestrians, etc.
Well preserved, some visible but easily forgivable offsetting in the sky areas, overall still a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina, mostly clean and fresh as issued.
Original fold lines as issued.
