Very scarce newspaper article which includes a map and several small views plus commentary. Also comes with the complete issue this supplement was issued with. Scarce.

Original 19th century weekly newspaper, illustrated with wood engraved images. An actual, complete newspaper published at the date listed, not a modern re-issue and accompanying supplement.

Paper uniformly age toned as typical, final page loose, issue was once bound up in a volume and is now free-standing and complete unto itself as originally issued.

Nice looking, overall clean, some old light damp staining to paper, edges of one sheet frayed and splitting, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive given how uncommon it is. Text on reverse of each page as always, images and maps from Harper's like this are often offered separately for display.

Sheet measures c. 16 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W.
