Period full leather binding, raised bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting red and black leather bands, gilt ruled covers, marbled covers. Front joint weakened but binding remains clean, tight, and sound.

Leather dried and chipped, spine split, remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
