Almost certainly a rare map if / when found presenting so attractively, as seen with this example.

A delightful assortment of 23 tiny engraved vignettes within boxes, all captioned or titled. United States flag shown top right of title oval.

Despite the repairs mentioned below and the various signs of age, the overall visual impact of the map is very pleasing. Entirely worthy of display.

Bottom left side blank margin extended with old paper, various old early fold lines (map was once folded within a now rare book evidently). Long tear across middle of map repaired in the past and now easy to overlook.

Overall, remains a nice looking example with pleasant age patina.

Sheet size c. 16" H x 17 1/2" W.

Engraved area c.14 1/4" H x 16 1/8" W.

Pictures show this very nice and likely rare map well. It's for sure multiples of times rarer than any map issued within any atlas.
