Issued 1845, Paris by Combete for Levasseur. Engraved by Laguillermie.
Interesting decorative mi- 19th century antique map. Engraved with original outline hand color.
Almost "carte-a-figures" in appearance, vignettes sceney and heroic medallions which have been effaced long ago by someone with thin ink lines to cover up nudity in the figures(!).
Map remains clean and well preserved. Fine patina and visual appeal.
Original fold line as issued.
