Publisher's cloth binding, gilt pictorial cover decorations. Binding well age spotted with discoloration spotting on edges of covers and spine.
Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, largely free of age spotting. With 11 full page etched plates (with tissue guards), all plates clean, one plate with blank margin tear closed on reverse.
Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
