Period full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, gilt title lettering on contrasting red leather label.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.
Binding heavily age worn, leather rubbed but still supple, joints slightly scuffed, remains overall attractive as an object.
Text block paper is well toned, moderate scattered age spotting, old damp staining, four rear folding plates rough, text book that has obviously seen heavy use internally still well preserved, tight, sound.
Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a unique age patina, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
